My son doesn't drink formula la :-( So, I have to ask the maid to put 1 spoon of formula + 1 pack of colostrum powder into Oval, Holicks, etc. for him now.

I haven't heard of "The Oxford Essential Reading". Are they phonics books?

Are the "ORT SongBirds" available from ETC too ? Do you know how much ?

For ORT "Routes to writing", would the kids be over-moulded into stereotype writing instead of creative writing ? Any views ? Where available and how much ? Any idea ?

OUP is out for our $$$ woh !! :-( :-( :-(

Would like to take a look at both these sets. :-(

I think Songbirds may be suitable for kids up to primary level cos they have books from stage 1 to 6.

Actually Letterland is just a means to teach letter sounds, vowels, blends and digraph and other phonics rules. Trust they can be well applied in all phonics story books.

SongBirds has just been published on 23.3.2006. Think they will be available at ETC after 2-3 months.

I can see there are sellers of UK ebay selling Stage 3 and 5 of Songbirds. Wonder other stages still not yet available.

Why don't you ask Ms. Fong to help? I did.

So, have you heard Cambridge storybook phonics which are also available in ETC, which one is better (Songbirds or CSP)

As the cambridge storybook phonics talking stories cd-rom seems quite good

but both cd-rom and books are quite expensive
